Our History
Founded in 1987 with three diagnostic laboratories in Switzerland, Unilabs rapidly grew through a strategy focused on acquiring high-quality partner laboratories across continental Europe. In 2007, Unilabs merged with Capio, a leading imaging diagnostic services company operating in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and the United Kingdom. This merger established Unilabs as the undisputed leader in the European diagnostic sector.
We have continued to expand our business alongside our portfolio of cutting-edge diagnostic services, evolving from a Europe-based company into a global operator, and introducing new offerings in genetic medicine, pathology, and many other disciplines.
